Thank you for visiting America’s Special Kidz (A.S.K.) online! This site has been created to provide parents, educators, physicians and business professionals with the most comprehensive resources for children and adults with disabilities and special needs.

It is our hope that you will join us in raising awareness and funds at ShamRock’s upcoming “Concert For Kidz V”on Saturday, November 17, 2018. This fun event will start at 2 PM and take place at the “New LaNeve’s Banquets located at 276 Belmont Ave., Haledon, NJ 07508. Invite your colleagues and clients and enjoy delicious food, desserts and the “live music.” Be an integral part of our critical outreach for the children.

We are excited to report that JJ is now an alternate ambassador for the New Jersey Elks!! Last week he was treated royally by the Passaic Valley Elks in Wildwood, NJ … and what a grand parade and celebration it was!

Mayor Keith Kazmark and the Woodland Park Council presented an award to Ms. Howard of A.S.K. along with three other Woodland Park residents for their significant contribution to the community.

Joanne Bastante-Howard is a resident of New Jersey, a mother of a child with Down syndrome and a graduate of Rutgers University. She has a genuine love for children and has been raising awareness for children with disabilities for over nine years.

Prior to launching America’s Special Kidz, Ms. Howard had a successful 25-year career in marketing and research on both the agency and client side. After her son was born, she desired to put her creative and researching expertise to work to help our most valuable asset, our children.
